DDGS offer a very high standard of grass mowing services.  We can maintain any sized area of lawn, mulching grass or removing grass cuttings from site.  On top of general mowing DDGS offer a lawn care programme to suit our customers needs from fertilising, moss control and weed treatment through to remedial work, scarification, aeration, over seeding and top dressing.

We can offer a service on a one-off, weekly or fortnightly basis or any other basis to suit your needs.

All of our machinery is well maintained to ensure our customers an efficient service, a quality outcome and importantly an excellent presentation.

Hedge & Shrub Cutting

Maintaining your hedges regularly not only keeps your hedges healthy but offers your property protection and privacy while also providing habitat for wildlife.

DDGS offer a hedge and shrub cutting service to suit the customers needs, we clear and remove waste, clippings and trimmings from site disposing of all waste in an environmentally and responsible way.

Hedge cutting and strimming is done at the customers preference once, twice of three times per year.  It is our aim to meet our customers specific needs.

Machinery is regularly maintained through the year to ensure trimmers and saws remain sharp in order to guarantee a fine precise finish.

Weeding & Pruning

Weeds can be unsightly and interfere with the fabric of your home.

DDGS offer a weeding and pruning service to keep weeds at bay by visiting once or twice per month, weeding through garden borders to retain your garden’s attractiveness and cutting and pruning any shrubs along the way. As always DDGS remove and dispose of all waste from your garden.

Turfing

With a background in sports turfing and horticulture DDGS have laid hundreds of lawns.  We take great pride in any turfing project: clearing site prior to turfing, ensuring that the surface is compact, level and clear of rubbish or foreign bodies.  We only use high quality turf, sand and soil.  We make sure the lawn is cared for from the start to the first cut stage and will continue to tend and maintain the lawn upon request.

All Aspects of Tree Work

DDGS undertake all aspects of tree work – topping and trimming.  We also work in collaboration with experienced tree surgeons.  Waste is removed from site leaving your garden clear, safe and tidy.

Weed & Moss Control

Weeds and moss can be hazardous to your home and can cause slipping injuries.

DDGS recognise the problems weeds and moss can create and our aim is to prevent such hazards and occurrences to our customers and their homes.  Matt Smith is Certified to provide herbicide application to kill moss and weeds on hard surfaces.

Garden Clearance

DDGS is equipped to clear any garden regardless of its condition and size, we remove trees, roots and shrubbery always disposing of the waste in an environmentally friendly way leaving our customers gardens tidy and welcoming.

Woodchip & Bark Application

Woodchip and bark application can be beneficial to suppress weed growth on soiled areas and is also an environmentally friendly way of putting nutrients back into the soil.

DDGS can provide this service to our customers.

Supplying Logs & Firewood

We offer cubic metre bulk bags and small individual bags of seasoned hard and soft wood. Price on request – delivery inclusive in the price of logs.

Leaves & Snow Clearing

Both leaves and snow can present potential hazards to our well being.

Clearing leaves and snow are both back breaking jobs.  DDGS have all the necessary equipment and tools to make light work of this for you.
